Welcome
to Tabernacle Baptist Church
We welcome you to Tabernacle Baptist
Church, the church on the hill. Founded in 1874, our home was in downtown
Raleigh for over 100 years. In 2001, we moved to our new home
on Leesville Road.
But we are more than just a building.
Our congregation is made up of warm, caring Christians who are committed
to serving their Lord, Jesus Christ. We are a joyful, active fellowship
with a place of service for people of all ages.
Join Tabernacle as we participate in Habitat for Humanity Activities during the Summer and Fall. Children will participate in a Habitat Vacation Bible School and Adults will work with Wake County Baptist Build to build a home.

Under Construction: A Habitat for Humanity Vacation Bible School
June 9 — 13, 2013
6:00 pm — 8:00 pm
For children ages 4 years old to 5th grade
Children will learn how the Christian Community Shares, Cares, Learns, Worships, and Celebrates by participating in Bible study and Bible activities. Old Testament stories will focus on God’s provisions and New Testament stories lead us in caring and sharing our faith with others. Children will learn how events that happened thousands of years ago are important to their lives today. Submit the VBS registration form to register your child and to reserve a spot for this fun time of learning together.
