At least 59 children and 35 volunteers participated in this year’s VBS! Our theme for the week, Galactic Starveyors, encouraged us to “search the visible” and “discover the invisible” (Colossians 1:15-16). The magnificence we can behold in the night sky represents the visible work of the invisible and sovereign God of the universe. What is more, the pages of Scripture reveal the story of how this same God desires to have a relationship with us through Christ, “the image of the invisible God.” Though humankind has fractured this relationship through sin, God has mercifully provided His Son to make amends and to offer us eternal life. May we join together in asking the Lord to give growth to the seeds of faith planted during VBS 2017. From the home page, visit the Blog for pictures from the week.
