Baptists on Mission/NC Baptist Men are already working on the ground in Texas to meet the needs of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Their efforts include disaster recovery (clearing out flood debris), feeding the hungry (40,000 meals a day are needed in the Beaumont/Nederland area alone), offering laundry services, showers, and much more. Tabernacle’s state missions offering in September will allow us help to provide the financial support needed to address this crisis. If you’d like to give above and beyond this offering, check out www.baptistsonmission.org/hurricaneharvey. Many ways to pray, go, and/or give are detailed on the website. You may also make a contribution through checks payable to N.C. Baptist Men/Baptists On Mission, designated for Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief. Checks can be mailed to NCBM, Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, P.O. Box 1107, Cary, NC 27512.
