As you drive up the hill at 8304 Leesville Road, you will find a large parking lot on the side of the church with Handicapped Parking spaces and specially-marked Visitor Parking spaces close to the Main Entrance. Signs are available along the driveway and at the top of the hill to guide you. Additional parking is available behind the buildings.
Entering at the Main Entrance
As you arrive at the building, one of our members will greet you, provide physical assistance if needed, and give you general instructions for locating the classrooms and Chapel.
Our Sunday School classes begin at 9:45 and end at 10:40. Any of our members will be glad to direct you and your family to classes of your preference. We offer classes for all ages and stages of life.
The Welcome Table
Before the Worship Service, first-time visitors are greeted by members of our Welcoming Committee. We’d appreciate your taking a few moments to allow us to get to know you.
The Worship Service begins at 11:00 and usually lasts about an hour. You will receive a bulletin with information about the service, our weekly and upcoming activities, and our church’s prayer concerns.
Ushers can assist you in getting seated. You may request hearing equipment from the ushers. Wheelchairs and walkers are also available when needed.
Our worship style is traditional, although we often include more modern hymns and spiritual songs. We enjoy the worshipful music provided with our pipe organ and concert piano as well as the variety of instruments — trumpet, tympani, flute, guitar and orchestra — that are used in special services.
The Worship Service is live-streamed and available for viewing afterward.
At the end of the service, the Pastor and Deacon of the Week will be at the exit doors and can greet you personally.
Children are invited to attend the Worship Service in the Chapel with their parents. Children below the age of 4 are also welcome to play in the Nursery and Toddler Room during the Worship Service. About half-way through the service, the children in the Chapel ages 4 through 2nd Grade may come forward to hear the Children’s Message and afterward can return to their parents or leave the Chapel to go to the children’s classrooms for Children’s Church.
